Galveston Bay Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established in 1987 by a group of citizens who saw a critical need to protect and preserve the Bay’s natural resources and balance competing demands on the Bay. Our mission is to preserve and enhance Galveston Bay as a healthy and productive place for future generations. Our vision is a Galveston Bay that is brimming with vitality, connected to people, and contributing to the community in every way.
